We live in an environment in which information is suspect. There is a perception that media shapes the news with self-serving spin, and messages from large institutional organizations are little more than promotional hype. It is an environment in which myths often take precedence over truth. Myths have become commonplace in Southern Baptist life. This is not likely to change.
