The Caribbean Basin

I made a vow,
He paid the price.
I went on mission
because of His sacrifice.

I packed my bags,
He took the nails.
I trusted in His love–
a love that never fails.

I said goodbyes
He breathed His last.
My, how quickly two years
seemed to fly on past!

He rose again!
I made it back home–
holding close His promise
He'd never leave me alone.

How sweet is the Lord
and sweetly did He call.
I'm a forever changed person
because He is my all in all.

The sacrifices made to go on mission seem well worth it when compared to the reality that Christ went as far as to die for us. The impact is even greater when we can share that truth and His love with the world around us. Thank you, International Mission Board and its supporters, for allowing me to be a vessel of His love.
