Japan

Even though the work in Japan is really hard and slow, I want to encourage people not to give up on them and to just keep praying. If someone feels called to Japan, I want to encourage them to just go because God is working there just as He is in all these other places. Even though hundreds aren't coming to Christ every day, His spirit is still moving.

At my church, I met this man who had been coming to church for many, many years but wasn't a Christian. He was also one of my students. We started a friendship and it was really neat because he was like a father to me. We just developed the neatest relationship. Through that friendship we had, God really spoke to his heart and he decided to become a Christian. He said it was because of the love he saw in me. That was really amazing to me because I had no idea that God was using me to impact this man's life like that at all. I mean I had absolutely no idea. I thought he was just interested in English. So, that experience for me was the most incredible, because I wasn't quite sure why I was spending time with this person but I still felt like it was something I was suppose to do. God used that and this man became a Christian.
