Questions one must ask as they consider overseas service:

Are you able to say "Yes" to any of these questions or issues? If so, you can expect that our doctors will need additional information from your personal physician, which may slow the application process.

Malignancy:  If you have been diagnosed with any form of malignancy, we need a report from your physician stating:

  • The stability of the malignancies.
  • What follow up has been done?
  • What further follow up may be needed?

Anti-depressants:  If you are on anti-depressants or have been counseled for depression or anxiety, we need a report from your physician stating:

  • Therapy given.
  • Response to therapy.
  • Anticipated need for follow up or other problems.

Therapy/Counseling: If you are in therapy or counseling, or have been in therapy recently, we need a report from your therapist stating:

  • Issues dealt with.
  • Response to therapy recommended.
  • Ability to live in an overseas setting that may be stressful.

Major surgery:  If you have had major surgery within the last five years, we need a report from your physician stating:

  • How you responded to surgery.
  • Subsequent follow up to that surgery.

Chronic (ongoing) illness: We also should be aware of any other chronic medical problems or conditions that may limit your ability to function overseas.
