Missionary Apprentice

The Application Process

Appointment Week:

Appointment week generally lasts five days, with candidates arriving on Saturday and departing Thursday afternoon. The Appointment Service is usually on Tuesday evening. No children can be in your care during this time. You meet with the trustees who serve on the Regional Committee for your particular area for testimony, prayer and encouragement. You’ll receive a general orientation from the Office of Overseas Operations, and a specific orientation from your Richmond Regional Associate. Candidates also attend sessions concerning packing and shipping information, and are given details about salary and benefits.
