Preparing to Go

Now that you have accepted God’s call to a specific project, you will want to make the best preparation possible. The success of what you do on the field will largely depend on what you do before you leave the United States. Thorough preparation is absolutely essential for a successful mission. We have provided several tools that will assist you in your preparation. Please see the items on the sidebar under the title “Preparing to Go.” Next, click on the items that are appropriate for you, such as Team Leader, if you are leading a team; Team member, if you are participating on a project but are not the team leader; Individual/Couple, if you are going alone, with your spouse only or with any other person.
