Faithful through adversity

IMB personnel in Manaus, Brazil send their thanks for a team of volunteers from FBC, Daytona, FL and Sardis Springs BC, Athens, AL which came to work with the MKs during field meeting. Satan did everything he could to keep this team from coming. The assistant pastor that was originally the team leader was killed in an automobile accident on Christmas Eve and there was a question whether the team would go...After much prayer they felt the Lord was telling them to go. They did not receive their visas until the day before they were to leave due to having to secure a special letter confirming the need for the team and there were other hitches along the way. They did a great job with the MKs and gave them experiences that are not available to them in country. They worked at the local orphanage, carried out door-to-door witnessing, and held a two-day Bible School with the local children. God really blessed their faithfulness and determination to push on.
