Southern Cross report

Greetings! I just wanted to take a moment and let you know how much we appreciate the work you are doing in Thailand. Our Thomasville Volunteer Team was amazed at the devotion you have as well as the variety of ministries you are involved with. In a week's time you touch children to adults with Christ's love. We are humbled that we are allowed to have a part in it through the Cooperative Program and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering®. I now want to give even more!

The witnessing training you gave our team was excellent. You are right on track to give the training before you send a team out ... we felt prepared to share the gospel of Jesus Christ on the beach. Our team came to Thailand to bring light to darkness. We expected and wanted to be challenged and reach out to the lost. Thank you for not holding back but allowing us to stretch and grow through the beach witnessing experience. Jesus would have gone to the "gay end" of the beach--He came to seek and to save those that are lost--and so should we. If we, the body of Christ, look the other way, WHO will tell them? The shame for us would have been in not going to the ends of the beach that needed it the MOST ...

I truly enjoyed giving water (in Jesus' name), gospel tracts, and praying with lost people on the beach. That is quite honestly the best time I have ever had at the beach. It is also the first time many of us have gone out to intentionally witness and take the gospel to the lost. What a blessing--my hope is that this is the beginning of boldness for us.

I now have more determination to pray daily for the birthday missionaries and especially for the Thailand personnel. Peace be with you! Be encouraged and persevere--He is coming and ALL need to hear--thank you for listening to the call and including ALL ...
