| How this job relates to field
strategy |
| In Taiwan Christianity is still considered foreign and Jesus is viewed as an American god. To have an opportunity to share Jesus workers must engage local people using activities that help them feel good about meeting Christians. Once a relationship is established that becomes the bridge over which the gospel can travel. This outreach activity allows for relationships to be built and extended so the gospel can be shared and new believers can be gathered into new churches. |

| Specific Date Instructions |
Much is flexible including arrival, departure, and length of assignment. Items NOT flexible include prayer walking, distribution, talking with people, and hosting the Easter party for the new friends you will have met. |

Expect to climb stairs in many places. |

| Additional information |
| Think of this project as ?distribution plus?. The plus is related to talking. Street distribution happens all the time all over Taiwan. A friendly foreigner with a smiling face, a gift, and a desire to chat is not a common occurrence. Simple distribution of gospel media is okay. Addi in talking and an Easter party and it gives new meaning and new power to a familiar gospel sharing activity.
NOTE: Children under the age of 15 should be accompanied by a parent or close relative. |
